Clarity

retrospecting

“I want to make his heart my home
Like a snail retreating into it’s shell
I want to find my heart, my home within his being
Him & I being one and the same”

Said the little girl,
A frown on her face.

“Let him go, little one,”
Said the woman,
A smile on her face –
“What’s yours
Will be yours
Cannot be another’s
Let time be the judge
Friend and ally –
You just become the person
You want to be.”

And voila, existentialism wins the day. 😛
And yes. Here’s good wishes for a great day and weekend!
And no, the title is not inspired by the song Clarity. Though I might just go listen to it.

Adios!

    1. Hi Rogershipp,

Thank you for your kind words. Glad you enjoyed it. However, it’s a very common thing that writers face – fundamental attribution error. Not every piece is autobiographical.

      Have a nice day!
